The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern were absolutely delighted to see the club continue their Champions League adventure.
Indeed, while our local Lillywhites are praising Harry Kane both often and loudly after his stunning hat-trick against APOEL last night, another academy graduate certainly made his mark in Cyprus.
Harry Winks, back to full fitness, was called into central midfield alongside Eric Dier after injuries to Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele, impressing after a fairly long period out, much to the delight of our north London locals.
Though Kane and Dele Alli are always likely to receive the plaudits, the 21-year-old looked a natural fit next to Dier and, considering England’s problem with creative midfielders to sit deep, surely will be of interest to Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate.
With that in mind, here’s a look at how Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter to Harry Winks’ performance in the Champions League last night.
It's really heartening to see Harry Winks still look so uninhibited on the ball. Given the state of Southgate's midfield, he's worth capping

Harry Winks and Eric Dier were marvellous last night. I was very impressed. Some great balls and some solid tackling.

Give winks a little more time, I'd pick him over dier and Henderson for #England as he offers so much more going forward from a deeper role

Can’t wait for Winks to play for England #baller

Everytime I see winks play I'm massively impressed. Why does it even shock me anymore? This lad is what our fans think Dembele is.

Harry Winks is who Real Madrid fans think Toni Kroos is.
