He has been the talk of the Tavern today, and the rumours are showing no signs of slowing down…
Moussa Sissoko has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs this summer, and now another one can be added to the list.
According to George Caulkin of The Times, Everton are the latest club to make a move for Sissoko – adding that the club have been tracking him throughout the summer. See the tweet confirming that news below…
Now told that Everton have made a move for Sissoko (and, yes, have seen the denials on Sky etc). Been tracking him for a while. #Nufc

Whilst the Newcastle faithful here in the Football Transfer Tavern had expected Sissoko to leave the club this summer – they definitely weren’t expecting so many of the Premier League’s big boys to launch a move for the Frenchman.
Earlier today, Tottenham looked set for a move for Sissoko – but that deal hit a wall when the clubs couldn’t come to an agreement on price. Chelsea were also touted with a move – but that one seemingly didn’t get out of the starting blocks.
Everton are the latest club to be linked with a move, and the rumours come off the back of Everton’s capture of Yannick Bolasie. Our landlord thinks that they could prove an absolutely deadly duo in the Premier League this season.
Any excuse to throw in a Sissoko montage…
With less than 7 hours to go until the Premier League Transfer Window slams shut – will a deal for Sissoko be done in time? Our landlord thinks it could be a stretch – but anything could happen…
Everton fans – Would you like Sissoko at Goodison Park? Chelsea and Tottenham fans – Should your club’s come back in for his signature? Newcastle fans – do you want Benitez to try and hold on to the Frenchman?
