Transfer target coy over Arsenal move

fabregas.jpgIt appears to be a summer of returns in the Premier League and the Football Transfer Tavern is hoping that Arsenal can strike a deal to bring Cesc Fabregas back to the Emirates Stadium, however the Spaniard is not so sure just yet according to Metro.

The Gunners have struggled to fill the void left by Fabregas in 2011 but the 25-year-old will be the first to admit that his move back to his beloved Barcelona has not really worked out.

The Spanish international has struggled to break into the mega-talented Catalan midfield on a consistent basis and has now resorted to being a false number 9 forward when Lionel Messi misses his annual game with a slight injury.

It appears that a return to North London would suit all parties but Fabregas is keeping his cards close to his chest.

“I do not know what is being said and even what is written,” said Fabregas.

“I can only say that I alone know my own future.”

Will Arsenal pull off a sensational swoop for Fabregas this summer? Let us know your thoughts below.
