The Daily Mail have finally got some good news for newly suffering Manchester United fans, who have gotten rather excited at the news that Everton Ribeiro has opened the door on a move to the club.
As our punters have been pointing out for some time now, the club are in dire need of a few signings this winter, and the £10 million rated player is quickly moving his way up the wanted list.
Not only does David Moyes have his eye on the Brazilian, but Liverpool are ironically also keen on bringing the 24-year-old ‘Everton’ to Anfield.
The player himself spoke to ESPN Brazil and noted that: “United have Kagawa, Rooney, De Gea is the goalkeeper.
“I know them very well because I play with them a lot in video games as they are a great team. You play it one day after the other and know the players even better.
“I feel I am ready to play in any part of the world. If you play for Cruzeiro, you can play in any place. I would fit in any part of the midfield. I would do well as a playmaker to support the attack.”
Our landlord pauses from handing out some all day brunches and notes that a playmaker is exactly what United need – and soon.
Will the player get his video game inspired move? Let us know your thoughts below.
