Transfer target is Manchester United’s…but for a MIGHTY £90m

Ronaldo BaleMetro have Manchester United fans looking like they cannot believe their eyes here in the Football Transfer Tavern after they claimed that Gareth Bale could well be on his way to Old Trafford.

According to the publication, Bale’s current club Real Madrid would be willing to sell him for the £90 million rumoured fee.

According to our resident Red Devils fanatics, Louis van Gaal and Ed Woodward should be trying to get that money together.

Of course, as the majority of our regulars note over by the bar, Bale is one of the very best players in the world and it is only natural that there is speculation over his future, especially with United reportedly willing to offer so much money for him.

United are keen to lure Bale to Manchester with a £300,000-a-week deal and given Isco’s renaissance at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid may be more willing to sell the former Tottenham ace than they might have been before.

The Premier League club have been linked with re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo recently and of course brought Argentine superstar Angel Di Maria from the La Liga side in the summer as well.
