Transfer target open to a reunion with Chelsea boss

4327024 (1)Some of our punters look a bit crazy from time to time here in the Football Transfer Tavern, but as our landlord notes, that is nothing compared to the antics of former Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli.

The Italian international has today been linked with a return to our shores by the Daily Mail.

The AC Milan forward has not been linked with a move back to former club Manchester City however, much to the delight of some of the Citizens here in the tavern and the utter dismay of some others!

It is Chelsea and Jose Mourinho who Balotelli has been linked with and it seems that a move to Stamford Bridge is not out of the question.

The Blues are of course looking for a star forward and now Mario has placed himself on the list of players who might make the move.

He claimed: “Of course I would like to play under Jose  again.

“In my first days at Inter we had some  problems, but then it turned into a mutual respect, and now we have a real  friendship.”

Our landlord takes this point to remind us of the infamous story Mourinho tells about Balotelli, when he spent 14 out of the 15 half time minutes telling him not to get a second yellow card, only for Balotelli to get sent off in minute 46!

It is worth noting that Mourinho only speaks about the player with love now and certainly would not rule out a reunion.

Could Mad Mario come back to England? Let us know your thoughts below.
