Liverpool may have been handed a huge boost as the pressure starts to build on the club’s Premier League aspirations.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were held to a 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Monday and witnessed Manchester City leapfrog them to the summit of the division on Wednesday night.
However, there is still a long way to go in the season and the Anfield outfit may have been given some positive news at a timely moment.
According to a report by Sky Sports, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Georginio Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson have all returned to training.
The trio have been on the sidelines with injuries recently, but appear to be in contention for the game against AFC Bournemouth at the weekend.
All three were clearly missed during their draw with West Ham, whilst Alexander-Arnold’s absence seems to have had an effect on the team over the last few weeks.
The trio’s return to training will be a potentially huge boost for Liverpool and their Premier League title aims.
All three men are extremely vital to how Klopp’s side perform and their absence from the team has been rather telling on the pitch, with things having not gone in the Anfield outfit’s favour.
Liverpool will know that they can go back to the summit of the Premier League with a draw against Bournemouth, but they will be keen to return to winning ways after two consecutive draws in the top-flight.
