There is currently a heated debate going on in the Transfer Tavern between the fans of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City.
Each set of fans believe that they will win the race to capture a Barcelona starlet.
According to The Mirror, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea are all tracking Barcelona striker Abel Ruiz, who is impressing in the youth systems for club and country.
The 17-year-old is currently playing for Barcelona B and is highly rated by Barcelona, who are keen to negotiate a new contract with their prize youngster to prevent other clubs from poaching him.
With just a year left on his contract after this season, the trio of Premier League sides could be eyeing a cut-price deal for Ruiz, who has a £3m buy-out clause in his deal.
Manchester City have been monitoring the situation while Chelsea and Arsenal have already made contact with Abel Ruiz’s representatives over a possible move.
The Spain under-17 striker has been featuring for his country at the under-17 World Cup.
Ruiz reportedly wants to stay at Barcelona but may move away if first team opportunities are looking sparse.
