Trophy-laden 29-year-old midfielder reportedly wants to play for Chelsea next season

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been impressed with Cesc Fabregas’ form this season, despite his lack of game time…

Indeed, the Spaniard has been in fine form – regularly contributing goals and assists whenever he is on the field.

Despite his lack of game time, though, it would appear as though the Spaniard wants to remain at Stamford Bridge, with the Evening Standard reporting that he has ‘hopes’ of staying at Chelsea this summer, whilst he is also ‘determined’ to remain in London.

This has pleased the Chelsea fans in the pub, as whilst he hasn’t played as much as he likely would have liked, it seems as though Fabregas is still content at Stamford Bridge. Given that he will turn 30 later this week, our landlord thinks that this hints at a certain level of comfortability from Fabregas – with the Spaniard simply looking to contribute to a side that is winning trophies.

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate to see him stay this summer.
