Crystal Palace will host Tottenham Hotspur at Selhurst Park on Saturday evening with both teams in different form.
The Eagles have struggled to find a victory this season, having won just twice so far, whilst Spurs are currently enjoying their best ever start to a Premier League campaign.
Both clubs have some exciting prospects in their ranks at the moment, especially at right-back where both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Kyle Walker-Peters have looked extremely promising.
However, who out of the pair wins this battle?
Wan Bissaka has burst onto the scene at Selhurst Park and has certainly made a name for himself in quick fashion.
The 20-year-old was given a chance in the latter stages of last year’s campaign when the Eagles were fighting to survive under Roy Hodgson and put in a number of solid performances against the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.
He has continued his fine form this year, despite having been shown a red card in the game against Liverpool and has subsequently earned himself a place in the England Under-21 setup.
Those displays have led to interest from some of the league’s biggest sides, however, Palace are adamant that he will not be going anywhere in the near future.
TT Grade: B
Walker-Peters is another extremely talented right-back that England will be able to utilise in the senior side in the future.
The 21-year-old has only made a handful of appearances for Spurs in the senior side, however, his performances for the developmental team will mean he is never far from Mauricio Pochettino’s mind.
With Kieran Trippier sitting in front of him in the pecking order, with Serge Aurier also thought to be ahead of him, it is difficult for Walker-Peters to make that impression to force himself into the first-team picture.
TT Grade: C
With the meeting at the weekend in mind, Wan-Biassaka is almost certainly going to feature, whilst his counterpart is unlikely to even be at the venue on Saturday.
Both have the luxury of time on their hands when it comes to developing their playing career, but at this moment, the Palace man smashes Walker-Peters in this battle. Indeed, perhaps the latter could learn from him and look to leave, in order to make the most of his obvious talent.
