The Manchester City fans who are competing in a pool tournament in The Transfer Tavern this evening are discussing reports one of their players could be on the move this summer.
According to reports from Turkish media outlet Milliyet, Besiktas are ready to make a move for one of the Premier League sides longest serving player Aleksandar Kolarov this summer.
The 30 year old is a primary target for the Turkish side this summer as they look to make vital additions for their Champions League campaign next season.
The only thing that could scupper the move is the players huge wages of £5 million a year but the heirachy at Besiktas are confident that offering a huge signing on fee and other bonuses will encourage the Serbian to join their ranks.
In an ideal world the Turkish side will be looking to reach a reasonable deal with Manchester City so they have more to offer when it comes to the players wages.
Kolarov joined Manchester City from Lazio back in 2010 and has gone on to make over 200 appearances, scoring on 20 occasions.
Is it time for Kolarov to leave Manchester City? Let us know in the comments below!
