The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern were delighted to get back to winning ways last weekend with a thumping victory over Stoke City at Wembley.
Tottenham put an end to their poor run of form last weekend with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Mark Hughes struggling Stoke side following a run of 4 league matches without a win. Mauricio Pochettino’s dominated proceedings throughout as The Potters struggled to get close to the Lilywhites and rarely ventured towards Hugo Lloris’s goal.
And they will be hoping that their victory from the weekend will spark an unbeaten run over the hectic winter schedule, starting with their fixture against Brighton and Hove Albion at Wembley this evening.
Earlier this week, the club’s official Twitter page reminisced in a moment of brilliance from Harry Kane by posting a video of a pin-point cross-field pass after bringing the ball down with ease inside his own half.
Turn, touch, technique.

It is fair to say that the Spurs fans on Twitter were purring at the short clip and dished out plenty of praise for both Kane’s executed pass and Son Heung-min’s immaculate first-touch.
Kane’s impact has even drawn a handful of supporters to compare him with a few Spurs legend’s from the past…
And everybody involved at the club will undoubtedly be hoping for more of the same quality this evening from Kane and the rest of the Spurs team.
Here’s what the Lilywhites had to say in response to the club’s Twitter post…
I honestly think he's our best passer.
