Two Manchester United stars wanted for a combined £25m

Javier HernandezManchester United fans are looking up eagerly here in the Football Transfer Tavern to hear the latest claim coming from The Guardian who seem to think the Red Devils could be in line for a £25 million payday.

This is all down to two of their unwanted players – Shinji Kagawa and Javier Hernandez – who are attracting interest from Atletico Madrid.

The La Liga champions are reportedly keen on both and are willing to pay a fair bit of cash to bring them to the Vicente Calderon.

As one of our punters notes, considering both are really utility men at the club and look like being surplus to requirements under Louis van Gaal, we think that the Red Devils should take the cash and run!

Both Kagawa and Hernandez are especially keen to move to a club where they are trusted, receiving regular playing time and are picked to start games and that is something we are pretty sure Diego Simeone would be happy to comply with!

Manchester United fans. Is this something you would like to see happen? Is £25 million a good deal for the duo? Let us know your thoughts below.
