Two more names on Arsenal goalkeeping wishlist

juliocesar.jpgThere is drama here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it is claimed that Arsenal are after not one but two players (and two goalkeepers!) – well that is according to the Daily Mirror. The publication claim that the Gunners are looking at QPR’s Julio Cesar and Manchester City’s Costel Pantilimon.

The club have been looking for a new keeper for some time now and the comments that were made by Wojciech Szczesny’s father means the Arsenal goalkeeping situation is currently up in the air.

Not only is Arsene Wenger looking at the Manchester City reserve and the Queens Park Rangers number one but he had been considering making a move for Victor Valdes despite the Catalan club claiming that the stopper will not leave until the summer of 2014 on a free and are also considering other options across Europe.

With this being the case, the Emirates Stadium-based club are willing to make a summer bid for Cesar who of course was an key part of the Jose Mourinho treble winning side at Inter Milan and has proven himself at QPR despite the fact that the club are basically already relegated.

Are either Julio Cesar or Costel Pantilimon headed for the Emirates Stadium? Rate this rumour below.
