There have been a few whispers linking Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu with a move to the Premier League in the Football Transfer Tavern recently and he today confessed he wants to move to England soon.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian international midfielder is reportedly a target for Wigan, Stoke and Reading after earning plaudits for his fine displays in Serie A.
Agyemang-Badu has admitted that he is flattered by interest from abroad and wants to forge a career playing in the Premier League.
“It is all players’ dream to play in the biggest league in the world,” 22-year-old Agyemang-Badu told Sky Sports.
“I am doing my best here; Udinese is a very good team. I am flattered by clubs showing interest in me. My performances have been good, but I need to improve.”
His friend and fellow countryman Kwadwo Assamoah made a big-money switch to Juventus last summer, and Agyemang-Badu is keen to repeat his success.
“I miss the banter with Asamoah, he has been a brother to me. I wished him good luck, he deserved to go to a big club like Juventus, he is a big talent.
Agyemang-Badu has already endeavoured to kick-start his career in England after having trials with Championship side Middlesborough before being given the opportunity at Udinese after a short loan-spell at Recreativo Huelva.
