United told they must stump up the cash to land defender

MirandaManchester United fans in The Football Transfer Tavern have been promised a summer of transfer dealing, but nothing has yet as of happened.

But according to TalkSport they will have to dig deep if they are to lure long term target Miranda to the club.

Atletico Madrid are set to refuse all offers for the defender, meaning that only offers triggering the £24 million release clause will suffice.

The La Liga champions’ are the Premier League’s version of Southampton this season, with their La Liga winning squad looking set to be pulled apart by vultures.

They’ve already lost star striker Diego Costa and midfielder Tiago to Chelsea and also look in danger of losing Filipe Luis, Ardan Turan and Koke.

But it’s Miranda that is rumoured to be on Manchester United’s wish list this summer but they will have to dig deep to lure their man.

Barcelona are also interested in the 29-year olds signature as they look to improve their squad and performance both in the league and the Champions League next season.

Manchester United fans: The release clause of £24 million seems far too much for a 29-year-old, doesn’t it? Let us know your thoughts below.
