Both sets of Manchester club supporters here in the Transfer Tavern have been waiting for the fixture release of the derby game and it has finally been revealed today.
When the two sides first met in the league this season many were predicting that both would be the main protagonists in the title race but that has surely not materialised.
Instead, United are still looking to get in the top four whilst City are aiming to stay in it, as Chelsea waltz away with the title at the top of the league.
The game, then, is still going to be important to both team’s seasons and it will now be played on 27 April at 8:00 pm – a Thursday night.
