Southampton picked up their first points of the season last time out, thrashing Aston Villa 4-1 at St Marys, a result which saw them climb out of the relegation zone and halted a run of 4 consecutive defeats.
Nikica Jelavic could be restored to the Everton starting line up, after he returned from a knee injury to feature as a second half substitute in midweek.
