We all knew that Tottenham had a very special player in Gareth Bale but a video that has emerged in the Football Transfer Tavern this morning suggests that he is just as capable between the sticks as he is he on the pitch.
The video from Spurs TV shows the Welsh wizard, who has been sensational form of late, pulling off a brilliant training ground penalty save, in a move that will worry both Hugo Lloris and Brad Freidel over their position at the club.
Judging by the footage Andre Villas-Boas now has an extra back-up keeper should the need for an emergency keeper ever be required with the 23-year-old showing the agility needed to be a successful stopper.
In the incredible video, as roles are reserved Bale leaps to his right hand side to palm youth team goalkeeper Jonathan Miles’ shot over the bar at Spurs training ground HQ in Enfield.
This leads to the Welshman walking away with a big smug grin on his face as the proper goalkeeper walks away in disbelief.
Watch the astonishing save by the Spurs sensation below. Really is there anything that this boy cannot do?
