Villa Chairman Flies In …Spur’s Keane NOT Injured …Celtic Brace Themselves

'Do Domino's deliver here?'

We told you last week that the Milner to Manchester City saga was a done deal. Things in football, as in various aspects of life are subject to change.

The Milner deal is still very much on. The Mirror reports this morning that Aston Villa’s Grande Fromage,  Randy Learner is on his way to snag list the transfer. The consequences of City’s money and it’s domino effect could be far reaching.

Speaking to The Irish Times, Republic Of Ireland manager Trapattoni revealed this about Robbie Keane, a man continuously linked with Aston Villa …’Robbie is not injured, though. At the moment he is looking at his position in Tottenham. I think we have the news it is not an injury.’

I’d say reviewing isn’t the half of it. Tottenham are being linked with every striker from here to Nice and Bob’s on camera reaction in the USA when asked about his future was a straight forward enough answer to if he was a happy chappy of not.You make your bed, you lie in it.

The Tallaght man now finds himself  in an unenviable position – held in contempt by those who refuse to get over his fiasco of a move to Liverpool  – and adored by Celtic fans who appear delighted to watch his soft tap in finishes week in, week out,  who are unable to fund his monsterous  wage demands.

Celtic are in this too. Aiden McGeady is itching to blaze a trail out of Scotland and having returned from talks with Spartak Moscow he is very much believed to be Martin O’Neil’s number one target. It would certainly have much more credibility than all the guff about Tottenham’s Jermaine Jenas or David Bentley heading to the midlands.
