On Saturday, Tammy Abraham got Dean Smith’s reign at Villa Park well and truly under the way. The on-loan striker scored the only goal of the game to beat Swansea 1-0 and the Villains have been calling for the Chelsea striker to be snapped up on a permanent transfer.

Tammy Abraham is a superb young talent and for The Villains to have him for the season is a superb coup. Steve Bruce did well to secure is services and now that Smith has come into the club with aim of playing progressive attacking football, it looks Abraham will thrive alongside the likes of John McGinn and Jack Grealish who will be determined to go one better than last year’s play-off final defeat.
When it comes to the young striker, what you see is what you get. The 21-year-old has now got himself an impressive four goals in seven games for The Villains and that’s a record that will only get better as he continues to start in the Championship. The Chelsea man last played in the Championship in the 2016/17 season when he was loaned to Bristol City and in that season he bagged himself an impressive return of 23 goals, a tally which he’ll be determined to smash this season at Villa Park.

The Villains want to see Abraham sign on a permanent deal and would do anything to keep him at the club, especially if he can fire them to promotion.
