As speculation over the future of Charles N’Zogbia has taken centre stage since the end of the season, it is now believed the Latics have more worries up top as Villarreal will wage in with £10m for front man Hugo Rodallega, according to The Sun… Yes that reliable source.
The Columbian hit man is believed to be just the man to come in, and fill the MASSIVE boots that would be left by Giuseppe Rossi, whom is on the brink of making a £35m move to Juventus.
It is believed Juan Carlos Garrido wants Rodallega to spearhead his frontline for domestic and European success in the new campaign.
The versatile Wigan star has never bettered 13 goals in one season.
The yellow submarines would surely have to shop about and invest in a striker that is proven, can cut it on the big stage, and would consider themselves fit to replace Rossi, whom netted 32 goals last season… is that man Rodallega? I think not. Maybe I’m being harsh… I just can’t see it happening…
