One Tottenham Hotspurs man’s future at the club looks to be all-but-over following the recent squad lists for the current season.
The striker has been left out of Mauricio Pochettino’s team and it appears that he will not be involved with the first-team for the first part of the season at the very least.
To make matters worse for the Dutch striker, only 24 players were named out of a possible 25, meaning the Argentine manager could have included him but chose against doing so.
The former AZ Alkmaar forward has struggled since joining Spurs in 2016 and has spent time away from the club on loan, which has not helped him to get his career back on track.
And, with his omission from the latest squad, it looks as though his time in north London could finally be up.
Janssen time at Tottenham Hotspur is certainly over now following the release of the squads for the current Premier League campaign.
The Dutchman has really struggled to make an impact at Spurs and would have been desperate to get a move away from the club this summer to have a chance of playing regular first-team football.
However, it now appears the £8.10million-rated striker, as per Transfermarkt, will spend the first part of the season in the dark and will have to wait until January before his situation could possibly improve.
