West Ham United fans here in the Tavern are looking forward to next season, with Manuel Pellegrini looking to bring success and silverware to the London Stadium.
Indeed, the Hammers flirted with the possibility of relegation for large parts of the campaign, with many of our local residents wanting to see major improvements next season.
So, the newly-appointed Manuel Pellegrini will be looking to bring in a number of players this summer, having tasted success in the Premier League during his time at Manchester City.
Therefore, the Hammers will need to secure the services of a left-back this season after releasing Patrice Evra, with an attacking midfielder also being craved to help link up play in the final third.
Without further ado, West Ham must complete these TWO transfer deals before the end of June…
Philipp Max has established himself as one of the most exciting left-backs in the German Bundesliga. He fits perfectly into the attacking full-back mould of the modern game having contributed 13 assists this season.
The defender could be a major coup for the Hammers, with a quality full-back proving crucial in the Premier League.
So, with many of our local residents wanting to see a European place secured next season, the German will play a huge part down the left-hand side by whipping dangerous crosses into the box.
The Englishman will be jetting off to the World Cup later on this month after an impressive season in the Premier League.
However, the midfielder may be looking for a new club this summer after returning from his successful loan spell at Crystal Palace, with Chelsea possibly looking to send him out on loan once again.
Interestingly, the 22-year-old managed to bag himself two goals and provided five assists during his time at Selhurst Park.
So, with creativity being his strongest attribute, West Ham’s strikers should enjoy success next season with Reuben Loftus-Cheek feeding dangerous balls in behind the opposition’s defence.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
