Huddersfield fans are enjoying their time at the Transfer Tavern at the moment, and they’re hoping for similar enjoyment in the Premier League next season.
Following on from their dramatic penalty-shootout in the play-off final against Reading last season, Huddersfield will be playing Premier League football for the first time in their history.
Whilst an opening day away game against Crystal Palace isn’t the hardest game they will have all season, it will certainly be a test for the top-flight new boys.
David Wagner will probably just not want to lose his opening day fixture against the Eagles with a draw being a more than satisfactory result.
With Crystal Palace’s strength in attack, Huddersfield’s defence will have a long 90 minutes and which substitutes to use at what time, could dictate whether they win or lose.
It will come as no surprise that if Huddersfield find themselves level or even winning come the 60/70-minute mark, a host of defensive players will be brought on.
On that note, our landlord has selected TWO Huddersfield players David Wagner must utilise in their opening day match against Crystal Palace…..
