It's been a very great season for the Man City fans in the Transfer Tavern, however, it hasn't been quite as good for a few of the young Citizens at the club.

As with any period of success, results go above all else, and that has unfortunately led to a bit of a stagnation with regards to Man City's youth development programme.

Given how dominant the club have been this season, it's looking unlikely that anything will change next year, and so for the young Man City men that are desperate for a chance in the first team, their chances are only going to reduce.

This summer, then, perhaps a few should look for an exit, and nobody should be thinking about that more than Tosin Adarabioyo.

A powerful central defender, Adarabioyo has looked destined to make it in the Premier League from a young age. He has been very impressed throughout the various developmental systems that he has partaken in, with his power and stature making him a real nuisance for the opposition, whilst his leadership capabilities were also evident.

However, he has hit a bit of a ceiling in that regard, as he's too good to play at youth level, but according to Guardiola, it seems he's not good enough to play at Man City.

Unfortunately for him, with the signing of Aymeric Laporte, he's only going to be further down the pecking order as time goes on, and that's without considering the prospect of another young defender moving to the club this summer.

It's disappointing, as most fans would agree that he has a very bright future, but a future at the Etihad looks unlikely. Time to move on.
