Watch: On-loan Chelsea ace scores sublime solo goal as Costa continues to struggle

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern don’t know what has happened to Diego Costa lately…

After impressing during the first half of the Premier League season, the Spaniard has gone off the rails since the turn of the year – with his goalscoring record and general play undoubtedly on a downwards spiral in recent weeks.

He was completely ineffective against Burnley, and for the Blues – that can only be a bad thing.

Yet, whilst Diego Costa is struggling at home, another Chelsea ace is impressing abroad.

Bertrand Traore looked primed and ready for a Premier League role at Chelsea this season, before he was abruptly sent out on loan to Ajax. A deadly forward, Traore has already scored a few times for the Blues – whilst his replacement, Michy Batshuayi, has struggled.

Conte will surely be regretting his decision to move the forward on now, too, with the Burkina Faso international scoring an incredible solo goal for Ajax over the weekend.
