The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate to see Ruben Loftus-Cheek make it into the Chelsea first team…
The young English midfielder has been really limited in his game time this season, but his display for the England under-21 side this week has certainly got the fans in the Transfer Tavern talking.
He put in a stellar performance, and speaking after the game – pundits Stuart Pearce and David James discussed his future at length on BT Sport – with the pair hoping that he would be loaned out if he is not going to play.
David James said: “If Conte’s not going to play him, why not do what they did with Moses?”, with the pair going on to discuss that he is ready to play Premier League football.
Of course, James is referring to the fact that Moses has spent the last few years on loan progressing as a player – and they clearly feel that Loftus-Cheek can take a similar path. See the comments in full below…
