Watford fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have been informed by the news that their defender is wanted by one the Championship’s biggest sides.
According to The Star, Sheffield Wednesday are looking to bring Daniel Pudil back to Hillsborough before the start of pre-season, following his successful loan spell last season.
It is believed the Owls have held advanced talks with the 30-year-old’s representatives as they are looking to make his switch permanent.
Carlos Carvalhal is clearly a fan of the defender after he made 42 appearances, helping the Owls to a place in the Championship Play-Off final at Wembley.
Sheffield Wednesday’s first team squad are due back for pre-season training on July 44th and Pudil is hoping to get this deal signed and sealed by the time the players return.
