Lots of Watford fans have given their reactions after seeing that Stefano Okaka has left the club – and many of them aren’t happy.
The Italian forward returned to his native country to join Udinese – the club which he spent the second half of last season on loan at, scoring six goals in 16 games for the club.
Okaka joined Watford in 2016 from Belgian club Anderlecht. He went on to score five goals in 39 appearances for the Hornets.
The 30-year-old made a deadline day move back to Italy, signing a three-year contract at the club until 2022. He has played four times for Italy, making his last appearance in 2016.
The player has moved clubs but will continue under the same ownership with the Pozzo family owning both Watford and Udinese. It is not the only bit of business done between the two clubs this summer, with midfielder Ken Sema also joining the Italian club on loan.
Many Watford fans weren’t particularly pleased with the news, giving the impression that they never felt Okaka was given the chance to blossom at Vicarage Road.
Here are some of the responses below…
Every time he played he was quality, shame he never got the opportunities

6 goals in 16 appearances for Udinese end of last season Javi plays long ball stuff yet okaka cannot get a sniff of a chance in a Watford team who can’t score goals , laughable really, good luck Stefano fair to say you well out of it , genius Giraldi !

Good luck Stefano, I thought that he could have done a job for us this season. Has looked decent for us.
