Watford: Fans react after ‘good day’ for Troy Deeney

Many Watford fans have sent messages of support to Troy Deeney after he tweeted a selection of pictures with the caption “good day”.

Within the pictures, Deeney could be seen running around the training pitch, which is clearly a good indication for Watford fans that his return to football is nearing.

Deeney has been out for nine games this season due to knee surgery he underwent on August 22.

There is no doubt that the club are desperate for the club legend’s return. With nine games gone in the Premier League, Watford are still yet to record a win and are bottom with problems at both ends of the pitch. So far, they have conceded the most amount of goals in the league with 21 and scored the least amount of goals with 5.

The Hornets are in desperate need of a leader and a goal scorer – Troy Deeney, the club captain, is both of those.
