The Watford fans in the Transfer Tavern are very keen to sign M’Baye Niang on a permanent deal.
After joining on loan during the January transfer window, M’Baye Niang has been one of the standout performers in a Watford shirt.
With two goals in fifteen games for Watford, Niang has played a hand in keeping Watford afloat in the Premier League.
Watford were looking into the possibility of signing the young forward on a permanent deal from AC Milan but they have been hit with a major blow.
According to Sky Sports News HQ, M’Baye Niang instead wants to return to AC Milan.
The France under-21 international has cited a number of reasons for his desire to return to Italy and one of them is due to the managerial situation.
Watford parted ways with Walter Mazzarri – despite him keeping them up – in a similar fashion to how they sacked Quique Flores last season.
Niang wants to return to Italy after learning that Mazzarri will not be in charge next season.
The former Caen striker was on his third loan spell away from AC Milan after spending time at Montpellier and Genoa.
His future at Vicarage Road now looks non-existent after today’s game.
