Watford in pole position for Serie A striker

Sanchez FloresWatford fans are gathered around the pool table discussing a transfer story linking them with a move for a Serie A striker.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the club have moved into pole position in the race to sign Juventus striker Simone Zaza.

Zaza is currently out of favour at the Serie A champions and they are looking to loan the player out in January, with a view to permanent move in the summer.

The striker, who has scored three goals in nine appearances this season, will cost Watford £3.5 million should his time their on loan be successful. Juventus are in favour of the player moving to the Premier League as they feel he would get the game time he requires at this stage of his career.

Other clubs linked with a possible move for the striker are said to be West Ham United and Stoke City.

The Watford fans are delighted to be linked with the player and feel he will keep both Ighalo and Deeney on their toes as the season progresses- this story is one they’ve raised their glasses to with smiles beaming across their faces.
