Watford manager offered chance to manage La Liga side

Sanchez FloresThe Watford fans who are gathered around the pool table in The Transfer Tavern this evening are discussing reports linking their manager with a move away from the club this summer.

The Times is reporting that manager Quique Sanchez Flores has been approached by Valencia about becoming the clubs new manager this summer.

The Spaniard is no stranger to those at Valencia having previously coached the side between 2005 and 2007, and with speculation that his future at Watford is in doubt, it has encouraged the Spanish side to make an approach.

Watford had a great start to life in the Premier League, but since the turn of the year the side have found it difficult to put a run of wins together, and that along with the clubs FA Cup exit at the hands of Crystal Palace last weekend speculation surrounding his future has intensified.

The Watford fans in The Tavern are hopeful Flores will remain at the helm, but think that with the hire and fire mentality of the clubs owners that the Spaniard will leave the club this summer.
