‘We might as well give the trophy to Jose’ – Chelsea fans raise concern after Huddersfield draw

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern were left feeling very disappointed after their side’s clash with Huddersfield on Wednesday night.

It was a game that the Blues really had to win to stand much of a chance of finishing in the top four, and even that might not have been enough.

However, it wasn’t to be for Antonio Conte’s men, with the Terriers battling on valiantly to secure a point against last season’s Premier League champions.

Naturally, when a result doesn’t go a team’s way, fans are always going to point fingers, and one player that is earning a lot of criticism today is Willy Caballero.

Signed from Man City on a free transfer last summer, the Argentine has been solid enough this season, but he was arguably at fault for Huddersfield’s goal, and it wasn’t exactly a convincing performance from him.

It’s fair to say that the Chelsea fans over on Twitter are pretty concerned about him, especially with an FA Cup final on the horizon.

The Blues have spent the last day or so slamming Caballero, and some are point towards the game with Man Utd at Wembley as a real cause for concern if Thibaut Courtois isn’t back in time.

Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…
