‘We need to snap him up’ – Chelsea fans want Conte to land £67.5m-rated Spanish international

The international break came at a good time for Chelsea, with the Blues struggling to maintain their form in recent weeks. They were comfortably beaten by Barcelona, in the end, in the Champions League, and their title hopes in the Premier League have been untenable thus far.

There’s still more than a few weeks until the season comes to a close, but it’s clear that Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are some way off being able to compete at the highest level.

This summer, then, will be very interesting. Chelsea are playing catch-up – and the only way to keep pace is by bringing in better players.

Who Chelsea are going to target this summer remains to be seen, but it seems like Chelsea fans have been keeping a keen eye on the international break, as one Spaniard appears to have caught their attention.

Spain took on Argentina on Tuesday night and put in a clinical performance, dispatching the South American side 6-1. Where Chelsea are concerned, Marcos Alonso made his international debut – but it seems that Chelsea fans were busy watching Real Madrid midfielder Isco.

The Real Madrid wizard bagged a hat-trick for his country, and he was undoubtedly the most impressive player on the pitch. It’s a surprise, then, that his time at the Bernabeu has not been too great lately, with the attacker, who is rated at £67.5 million by Transfer Markt, not as vital to the team as he likely would hope.

Chelsea fans don’t seem too bothered about that, though. Instead, they’re concerned about him becoming the focal point of the Blues’ attack.

Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…
