Week in Pictures – Joe Hart should borrow a phrase from former teammate

If the title race wasn’t over before yesterday, it certainly is now following Everton’s 2-0 triumph over Manchester City at Goodison Park.

Roberto Mancini’s side have endured a nightmare season, dropping out of the Champions League at the group stage, and failing to make any sort of challenge to retain their title which they won so dramatically last year.

One player who will feel it more than most is City’s goalkeeper Joe Hart. England’s number one is one of the most passionate players you are likely to find in the Premier League, and will no doubt be wondering what he might have done better over the course of the season.

But yesterday at Goodison, a running theme continued to emerge, as Hart was beaten by another absolute stunner, this time from Everton’s Leon Osman.

It’s not the first time this has happened, as this picture shows, leaving Hart to borrow a phrase from former teammate Mario Balotelli – ‘Why Always Me?’
