Welbeck and Xhaka must start performing under Emery

Arsenal have been one of the form teams in the Premier League in recent times as they continue to defy expectations under the guidance of Unai Emery.

The Gunners have soon forgotten about Arsene Wenger’s reign at the Emirates Stadium, with current boss Emery taking Arsenal to another level in the current campaign.

Although, the Spaniard is still yet to get the best out of a couple of his first team members, with a lack of contributions and quality performances continuing halt his side’s progress. And, if the players don’t seek improvements in the near future then they could be on their way out in January.

So, these TWO Arsenal players must start performing under Emery…

Danny Welbeck

Danny Welbeck has had to spend life in the shadows in recent times as the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette continue to find the back of the net.

Indeed, the Englishman has only managed to find the back of the net on one occasions in the Premier League, despite firing his side to victory in the Europa League recently.

Perhaps a loan move could be in the offing if the forward continues to struggle to get minutes under his belt in the top-flight, as first team football would be a guarantee elsewhere.

Granit Xhaka

Granit Xhaka has managed to enjoy a regular place in the side this season but he is still yet to really reach his full potential in the red shirt, with Matteo Guendouzi providing stiff competition.

The midfielder has impressed at times with one goal and one assist to his name so far but he could really take the pressure off Emery’s shoulders by producing an inspired run of form, with the Arsenal boss still having a selection headache at times.
