The Manchester City fans have been reacting to rumours that have linked Isco with a move to The Etihad in the summer. The Real Madrid ace has been valued at a massive £67.5 million by Transfermarkt and has three Champions League medals to his name. Although according to Jorge Calabres on El Chiringuito TV, Man City boss, Pep Guardiola wants the midfielder at the Etihad and has told the player that he would be a “leading figure” at the club.

The Citizens propping our bar up will no doubt be thrilled with the news that Isco could be on his way to The Etihad. The club already boasts one of Europe’s strongest midfield and the addition of Isco will no doubt help. Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Fernandinho, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling are already a force to be reckoned with on any given day, but when you add another world-class talent who’s capable of scoring and assisting goals in his sleep, the City side starts to look unbeatable.
The only problem with the club’s pursuit of the 25-year-old is the transfer fee that it will no doubt take to tear the player away from the Spanish capital. The playmaker joined Real Madrid from Malaga ahead of the 2013/14 season and had an instant impact, helping the Spanish giants to win La Decima and become the first club to win ten Champions League’s, in his debut campaign at Los Blancos. A move to Manchester City would no doubt be a culture shock for the Spaniard but as the club target a first Champions League trophy, who better to bring in that a man who’s already won the competition three times at the age of just 25.
