Wenger could make massive Arsenal change against Bayern Munich

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are growing increasingly concerned about the return of the UEFA Champions League…

Though the Gunners are often able to progress into the last 16 of the competition, they have so often been halted in the next round – and one opponent has been more dominant over Arsene Wenger’s side than any other over the last few years.

Bayern Munich are, of course, the team in question – and the German giants have built quite the rivalry with the Gunners over the last few years. The last time the sides met, in last season’s group stage, the German side came out 5-1 winners in the final game – leaving many of the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern concerned about the upcoming game between the two sides.

Arsene Wenger, then, will need to do produce some magic to ensure that his side progresses on Wednesday night, and it would appear as though he is planning just that – with a BIG tactical change potentially on the horizon.

According to the Telegraph, Arsene Wenger is considering dropping star midfielder Mesut Ozil for the crunch clash – with the German struggling to put his influence on games in recent weeks.

Undoubtedly a hugely important game, Arsene Wenger needs workhorse hands that he can rely upon – and there are certainly a few question marks over whether he is the player that Arsenal need against Bayern.

Mesut Ozil has struggled in the Premier League this season, having picked up 5 goals and 4 assists in 21 starts.
