‘Wenger out’ – Arsenal fans are all discussing the same thing after Liverpool vs Man City clash

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern had been hoping that their side would be involved in the Champions League this season, but it wasn’t to be. The Gunners were poor last term, and they deserved to finish outside of the top four, and it’s looking likely that they will repeat that feat this season too.

However, whilst Arsenal aren’t involved in Europe’s premier competition this season, that doesn’t mean that fans of the Gunners are not watching it.

To the contrary, the Transfer Tavern was filled to the brim with fans of all varieties last night, and naturally, Arsenal supporters were focusing in particular on a former Gunner – Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Englishman has enjoyed quite the resurgence since moving to Anfield, and he proved that last night with a wonderful strike to take the game to 2-0 for the Reds.

It’s fair to say that the goal hasn’t gone unnoticed amongst fans, with many taking to Twitter to discuss Oxlade-Chamberlain’s performance. Unsurprisingly, many fans are – as they often do – pointing towards Arsene Wenger as the problem.

With most arguing that the Frenchman held the Ox back, and others simply calling for him to leave the Emirates – Arsenal supporters clearly aren’t too happy.

Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…
