The Gunners’ inability to finish in the top four last season means that they won’t be able to offer Champions League football ahead of next season to any prospective signings, but it could also affect the future of some of their most important players.

Big players demand to feature on big nights, and it doesn’t get bigger than a Champions League night – and so the Arsenal fans in the pub have been concerned that some of their best players could look to leave this summer in search of continental competition.

However, according to The Independent, there is at least one top player that the Gunners think will be at The Emirates next season. According to The Independent, Arsenal are said to be confident that defender Hector Bellerin will be at the club next season, with Wenger and co looking to do all they can to ward off any threat from other clubs, notably Barcelona.

This will certainly come as a boost to those in the Tavern, with Bellerin clearly one of Arsenal’s most important players. He had a tough spell at points last season but turned a corner towards the end of the campaign, leaving the fans in the pub delighted.

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern think that if the club can hold on to their best players this summer, then they will be in with a real chance of domestic glory next year.
