Wenger’s Panic Continues As He Targets Deadly Finisher In Swap Deal Of The Century

As the transfer window draws to a conclusion, the rumour mill has hit full speed. Arsenal’s 8-2 demolition at the hands of Manchester United has forced Arsene Wenger to reach into his pockets…

In order to secure another new striker. Reports in the last hour have confirmed the signing of Park Chu-Young, South Korea’s star striker who until today plied his trade for AS Monaco FC.

But Wenger isn’t finished in his striking department yet as he looks to finally get rid of the unwanted Nicklas Bendtner – using him as a make-weight in a cash plus player deal for FC Schalke 04 hit man Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Bendtner has long been tipped to leave the Emirates stadium and has been linked with several clubs this summer including Fulham, Stoke City and AS Roma. He is not in Wengers thoughts for a first team spot and wants to raise even more cash to splash before the end of the transfer window.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is the player who Arsene Wenger wants and he has certainly proven he can consistently find the back of the net. Rated as one of the best poachers in the game, his ability to be in the right place in the right time and consistently beat the keeper has earned him an astounding 26 goals in 44 appearances for the Dutch national team.

He has played at Ajax, Real Madrid and AC Milan already and thus has experience in top European teams. He would provide an integral dutch link with Robin Van Persie up front for Arsenal and be a much greater use for Wenger than Bendtner.

What do you think of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar? Would he fit in nicely at Arsenal and would he be tempted to leave German Giants Schalke 04?
