West Brom and Watford consider seismic striker swap for prolific forwards

West Brom fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are now feeling a sense of excitement around the one of their star players leaving the Hawthorns.

According to MailOnline, Watford have rejected a £20 million swap deal from West Brom which would see Sadio Berahino and Odion Ighalo swap clubs, but it’s believed the Baggies will return with an improved offer.

Despite the Hornets turning down Tony Pulis’ most recent offer, the Baggies are still keen on luring him from Vicarage Road.

Equally, the Hertfordshire outfit are keen on purchasing Berahino, but the price tag is an issue as the Baggies are demanding £20 million for the forward who only has one year remaining on his contract.

There’s set to be a tough set of negotiations between the two Premier League sides as they look to prize each others forwards.
