Our resident West Brom fans here in the Transfer Tavern want to see some signings in this window and, according to The Daily Mail, Filip Bradaric could be one.
The Baggies have been going well this season thanks to some of the work Tony Pulis did in the summer as well as his usual defensive coaching.
West Brom have been defensively sound for some time but their supporters here by the bar wanted to see them get forward more and that is what they’ve done this season – leaving them in contention for Europe.
Many feel, though, that they need to sign extra players if they want to cement that charge and so the potential signing of Bradaric could be ideal.
A Croatian international, Bradric plays for Rijeka in his homeland and so for many represents a rather unknown quantity.
That could mean he proves to be a masterstroke of a signing, though, providing it goes through with the Baggies looking for that extra edge for the rest of the season.
Our landlord is intrigued by this one but will hold judgement until he sees him in the country if that is what happens.
