West Brom favour striker sale to Newcastle, Spurs forced to wait

The Daily Mirror is reporting that striker Saido Berahino is being forced to wait with regards to leaving the club as the club are starting to play hardball with interested clubs.

Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Stoke City are all interested in the player but it appears that officials at the club are determined that the player does not have his own way when he leaves the club.

Its no secret that Berahino would love a move to Tottenham, but the hearty at West Brom are leaning towards the £15 million offer on the table from fellow Premier League side Newcastle United.

Officials at The Hawthorns were left with a bad taste in their mouth following comments made by the player after a failed summer move to Tottenham had him saying that he would never play for the club again.

The West Brom fans in The Transfer Tavern just want an end to the saga, but understand why the club are acting how they are and are with them when it comes to getting the best deal done.
