The West Brom fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate to add a top defensive midfielder to their ranks in the summer.
The Baggies fans here in the Transfer Tavern are anticipating a busy summer of transfer business.
However, one of their reported top targets is unlikely to be making the switch from Spain to The Hawthorns, according to reports in the Spanish media.
Radio Marca are reporting that Ignacio Camacho would prefer to stay at Malaga, rather than making a move to West Bromwich Albion.
After being linked with a move away, the once-capped Spain international has ended all the speculation by insisting that he is settled at Malaga and wants to stay.
Camacho made the move to Malaga in 2011 after coming through the ranks at Atletico Madrid.
Since his switch, the 27-year-old has played just shy of 200 games for the club as a holding midfielder and his fine displays have attracted the interest of West Bromwich Albion.
The Baggies were reportedly interested in bringing the Spaniard to the West Midlands to add some steel to their midfield.
However, Ignacio Camacho has told Spanish media source Radio Marca that he is happy at Malaga and that he will honour his contract with the La Liga outfit.
