West Bromwich Albion fans in the Transfer Tavern said their side were on the beach before the Monday Night Football clash with Tottenham Hotspur but a well earned point at the Lane has given the Baggies faithful hope that their could be some late season drama on offer.
Expressandstar.com have reported today that out-of-contract midfielder, James Morrison, has been in talks with the club over a new a contract since January.
Difficulties regarding the contract have come due to Morrison’s hamstring injury which he picked up at the start of the year but it is understood that the Scot could feature in one or more of the Baggies’ remaining fixtures.
Since arriving at the club in 2007, the 29-year-old has made 254 appearances, scoring 29 goals and establishing himself as a crucial asset to Tony Pulis’ side.
Morrison rose through the Middlesbrough youth ranks and has made over 40 appearances for his national side.
