West Bromwich Albion fans in the Transfer Tavern have been given boost for the upcoming transfer window as expressandstar.com have reported today that Feyenoord’s, Tonny Vilhenna, is on Tony Pulis’ wishlist for the new Premier League term.
Vilhenna is out-of-contract in the summer but the Baggies’ have joined a long list of English clubs interested in securing the youngster’s services with Swansea, Southampton, Sunderland and Premier League title favourites Leicester all interested in bringing him to the Premier League.
Former Feyenoord coach, Ronald Koeman, has an established rapport with the 21-year-old and it is expected that their relationship will a play a part in the transfer saga.
Tonny Vilhena has scored five goals in 25 appearances for Feyenoord, who sit in 3rd place behind Ajax and PSV Eindhoven boasting 78 points apiece.
Feyenoord will not be able to close the gap to secure Champions League football for next year and Vilhena has hinted at a move that would see him play in Europe’s top competition.
