West Brom keeper still has aspirations of international call up for Euro 2016

fosterThe West Bromwich Albion fans in The Transfer Tavern are gathered at the bar discussing the international aspirations of their goalkeeper.

The Express & Star is reporting that Ben Foster has not given up hope of representing England at EURO 2016.

Foster was not selected by England coach Roy Hodgson for the upcoming games against Germany and Holland, he also found himself overlooked when the squad needed another keeper calling up due to an injury sustained by number one Joe Hart in the Manchester derby at the weekend.

The West Brom stopper was overlooked in favour of Burnley shot stopper Tom Heaton and, although disappointed, Foster says he is fully concentrating on his form for his club but that he has not given up the hope of being selected for the squad that travels to EURO 2016.

The West Brom fans in The Tavern are delighted by Foster’s comments and believe that he will be on the plane to France this summer.

Should Foster be on the plane this summer? Let us know in the comments below!
